David Zipper is a nationally recognized transportation and urban mobility expert, contributing Writer at Bloomberg, and cohost of the Look Both Ways podcast. A former transportation and economic development leader in Washington, DC and New York City, David has spent his career at the intersection of cities, technology, and public policy. His writing on autonomous vehicles, public transit, congestion, and street safety has appeared in The Atlantic, Financial Times, and Slate, and he is currently authoring a book on congestion pricing to be published by MIT Press. David brings a unique perspective shaped by experience in city government, venture capital, and transportation innovation.
